Growing up I have always loved animals. A large part of my childhood was spent living on a property with sheep, cows and horses. From a very young age, I watched as we raised little lambs and I remember hand feeding the cows. I have also always grown up with dogs around, having had four in my life so far.
I started work at Inner South Veterinary Centre as a kennel hand in 2017 shortly after graduating year 12. I instantly loved working with animals and this later inspired me to pursue veterinary nursing. At the beginning of 2019, I enrolled into CIT to work toward a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. I started placement before I had even officially enrolled as I was super eager to get started. I have been loving working as a trainee in the clinic with the animals and the ISVC team and I am looking forward to my future here once I complete my Cert IV.
