We’re still here to look after you, however in the current environment, we’ve switched off our online booking temporarily as we would like to speak with you to work out the best solution for each and every one of our fabulous clients and your pets. Following the announcements from the Australian Government on 23 March 2020, we are still OPEN for business.

However, in order to adhere to social distancing measures, we have some important updates to announce:

Do NOT visit the clinic if:

  • You have cold or flu symptoms
  • You have been in contact with someone with COVID-19
  • You have been overseas in the last 14 days
  • You are in self isolation

We can help you make alternative arrangements if required.

Reduced opening hours:

We have reduced opening hours on weekdays from 8.30am- 6pm, and 8.30am- 1 pm on Saturdays.

Please call us to make an appointment:

Our online booking platform has been temporarily disabled so we can triage booking requests.

Priority will be give to urgent cases. We are not performing routine health checks or vaccination in adult dogs, nor routine dentistry other non –urgent procedures. Please call is you are running late or need to cancel.

Food and medication can be ordered and paid for over the phone prior to pick up. Ring us when you arrive and we will bring them out to your car.

When you arrive at the clinic:

Please call us and then wait outside or in your car. A staff member will come and see you in the car park and take the animal inside if needed. Please adhere to social distancing at all times adhering to the 1.5 m distance apart.

Non-Contact Consulting:

Our aim is to provide veterinary care for your pets for as long as we can, while reducing the spread of COVID-19. In order to adhere to government guidelines of social distancing, our services will all be car park consulting and/or a car park drop off and pick up service.

Telemedicine – in some cases, we can offer over the phone consultations so you don’t have to visit the clinic.

Contactless payment methods:

Please avoid paying with cash and use tap-n-go. We can also take over the phone payments.

Thank you for your co-operation. We recognise these changes might be inconvenient at times, but we do ask that you please understand the reasons for the changes and help us during this time.

For southside After Hours Emergencies, the Animal Emergency Centre, Canberra is open from 6.30pm – 8 am Monday to Thursday and all weekend from 6.30pm Friday evening. The AECC is located in Yallourn Street, Fyshwick. It is fully staffed after hours and very well equipped. Phone 02 6280 6344.
